We pray for God’s love, mercy and peace — through the intercession of Our Lady of Fatima and Our Lady of Guadalupe — for the healing and sanctification of the Church, for peace in our hearts and in the world, for an end to the persecution of Christians worldwide, and for the sanctity of all human life.
What is Prayer in the Square?
“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst of them.” – Matthew 18:20
Prayer in the Square is a lay movement in the Archdiocese of Denver with the blessing of Archbishop Samuel J. Aquila. It is a movement of public prayer which is offered in community as a witness to the world that God cannot and will not be removed from public life. The voices of the faithful will continue to be heard.
Prayer in the Square is an opportunity to honor our Blessed Mother and to pray for the loss of innocents around the world – including our persecuted brothers and sisters and the unborn. These innocents also include any person at risk of being denied their true dignity and loving care due to aging or health issues.
